About this space
“The veil between heaven and earth is thinner than we think…”
This space began as a quiet impulse — a longing to listen more deeply to the wisdom of the Christian mystics and to trace the presence of God through the rhythms of everyday life.
Over time, it has become a kind of digital cloister — a meeting place for seekers, dreamers, and pilgrims who sense that faith still holds deeper wells of wonder.
My Journey
I have served for many years as a Methodist minister, walking alongside communities through the changing landscapes of faith and life.
As a Superintendent Minister and Benedictine oblate, I have discovered how contemplation and action belong together — how prayer can shape leadership, and how stillness can transform service.
My ministry has always been about listening: to people, to places, to the quiet voice of the Spirit that speaks beneath the noise. Over the years, that listening has led me toward the mystics — those luminous souls who remind us that God is both beyond our reach and closer than our breath.
What I’m Exploring Now
Where the Veil Draws Thin is part of my ongoing pilgrimage — a weaving together of ministry, mysticism, and creative reflection as I move into a new season of life.
Through these writings, I hope to share insights from the Christian mystics, glimpses of sacred landscapes, and meditations born from the meeting of heaven and earth in daily experience.
My hope is that this space might become a small sanctuary of stillness and renewal — a companion for those who hunger for depth, beauty, and the quiet joy of divine presence.
